About
Before learning about design in college, I saw myself as primarily a photographer. That observational role has heavily lent itself to what I do in other mediums, though I have pushed myself to step into the foreground more over time. I like to think about things from a sort of third-person perspective. My interest in spirituality, psychology, and metaphysics also plays huge role in my work.
I am generally light hearted, curious, and forward moving, despite a tendency towards depression. A lot of what I am trying to do in my work is take the density of my experience and transform it into something playful or easy. I want to disarm my pain and discomfort and hopefully create a space to accept what is true.
I love color. I don’t like words. I love paper, and nostalgia. I love circles and shapes and the strange images my mind asks me to make before I understand why.
